Chicago, IL –August 21, 2008 – Access One announces a new and improved billing policy representative of its continual focus on customer service excellence. Access One will no longer begin billing from the loop drop but will begin billing loops 15 business days after the loop drop. The new billing policy allows for service to be turned up and usable before loop charges begin to incur.
This change does not imply that AOI will credit turn ups that take longer than 15 business days once the loop is dropped.
AOI does not guarantee installation during a specific timeframe. We commit to best effort.
This provision applies to all new circuit orders, including new circuits ordered for migration purposes.
In the event that service is available BEFORE the 15 business day interval is up, billing will still begin at the 15 business day mark, and the customer may receive loop at no cost during the interim period (* Please note, all other fees and charges still apply).
Customers/Agents are not responsible for determining the day the 15 business day mark falls on. Access One Billing will ascertain when billing will begin for the loop.
